Certified 25 to 1 Bullet Casting Alloy
These ingots are 5lb (pounds) each. This 25 to 1 alloy features twenty five parts of lead and one part of tin (96% lead, 4% tin). This alloy, along with the 16 to 1 and 20 to 1, has been one of the standard black powder cartridge alloys since the 45-70 Government cartridge was first loaded in 1873. It is also popular with many of today's Cowboy Action Shooters. The Brinell Hardness of 25-1 alloy is approximately 9. Price listed is per pound and they are sold by the pound in 5 pound increments.
